Follow new updates and improvements to The Meal Plan Vault.

Follow recipe sites, prep day and a cleaner dashboard

  • Recipe sites: follow the sites you cook from and their newest recipes show up under Recipes > Recipe sites. One tap saves a recipe with its ingredients and steps. Search, filter and sort what's new.
  • Fridge and freezer list: servings left from each batch, when to use them by, and the next meal they feed.
  • Defrost tonight: the day before a meal from a frozen batch, Today and the kitchen display remind you to take it out.
  • Prep day: every batch you're cooking that day, with ingredients scaled to the servings made, and calories and protein per meal.
  • Dashboard: today and this week fit on one screen, with food photos.

What can I make?, pantry tracking and diet checks

  • What can I make? ranks your recipes by how much of each you already have in your pantry.
  • Pantry tracking is back in the sidebar, and checked-off grocery items can move straight into it.
  • Diet and allergy checks: set your household's diets and allergies once, and recipes that break them are flagged.
  • Hands-free cook mode reads each step aloud. Say "next", "back", "repeat" or "start timer".
  • Barcode scanning adds a product to your grocery list from your phone's camera.
  • Daily calorie and macro goals: set goals and see how each day's plan compares.

Meal prep, daily macro totals and dark mode

  • Batch meal prep: cook a batch once and spread it across the week's meals.

  • Dark mode: choose Light, Dark or System under Settings > Preferences, or from the account menu.
